Groups
We have two mixed-age groups of children aged 3 months to Kindergarten entry age.
The Starlight and Rainbow Group
- 4 members of staff work in each group.
- Both groups are led by a Group Leader.
- We also train apprentices and students.
- Both groups are supported by a co-teacher.
The groups work with the elementary educational concept of elmar and both groups are bilingual.
Group Leaders
Pedagogically trained and recognised professionals with several years of experience in leading a group of children.
Co-teachers
Trained and recognised Early Years professionals. These teachers take the place of an intern or an apprentice on the days that they attend school and they support the group leader.
Students
Students completing a three year course to qualify in Early Years Education. The course is provided by Agogis and carried out at a higher technical school. Their practical work is supervised by the Head of Daycare.
Apprentices
A 3 year part-time training in Early Years Education at a vocational school in Winterthur.
Interns
For Interns we offer a year of vocational preparation with a programme of learning. In this way they receive a good insight into the profession and the performance goals they achieve provide preparation for further training.
